I want something.
I want to connect with people.
I want to relate with people.
I will not stand on a podium shouting, demanding they climb steep stairs to reach me. I must step down from this tower to shake hands. I must meet on common ground.
It takes effort and it takes rejection to learn but in the end it’s worth every breath spent.
In the end our relationships will continue in the hearts we touched. In the end, the memories of us in those standing live on. And it is in this manor, this intangible fashion we live on in the minds of men and woman, in our brothers and sisters. Thus, the importance of fostering a positive and healthy relation with another is above all. For what would be purgatory without the wretched, foul-mouth of a lover unloved? An afterlife spent with a bitter taste in the mouth of those living, those crossed is surely a hell worth avoiding. But seeking gratuitousness whispers till the end sends a soul soaring there after. For a heavenly bliss starts with a lovers kiss and ends with a thousand smiles who remember your honest action and whom your laughter will always miss.
We are not our thoughts. Discipline of the mind such as meditation controls and removes our noisy thoughts and fluid emotions so they happen abstractly, separately from the rest of our mind. When anger arises, let it pass. Though the storm blows leaves and whips rain hard against our flesh, we can lie safely instead in our home watching the storm as a separate event from our existence. Like all things made by man, this storm too shall pass. The anger or other emotions will dissolve into nothingness, the sky will clear and we will be left standing with resolve, unaffected.
Control the mind. Be not like a leaf carried haplessly with emotional wind. Be strong like a mountain whom the wind passes over. Learn from the wind. It is always speaking.

You, by putting each foot forward walk a path of your own making. Although the stars and the wind may guide you through the meadow, your journey is your own. The path through the meadow is the path into your soul, for both are one and the same. With the sun providing warmth above you, your footfalls leave an impression on welcoming soil beneath you. Your intent with each step determines not only what happens outwardly, but internally as well. This is a mark you leave on the world. With every step you make, your unique vision and energy reverberates around you. Make each of your steps count, for each creature in the meadow is listening.
it is not flowers that bloom, but our hearts which open reflecting on their beauty of color and shape. to see a blooming tulip is to experience a blooming spirit.
it’s the experience in life that makes each of us bloom.
it’s the hard winter that brings spring into our hearts.
an orchid matures from tender, caring hands.
a gardeners heart blossoms from the experience.
a tulip cannot grow without forethought and preparation,
without a winter, and without a spring.
winter brings spring into our hearts.
a cold winter, a death.
a warm spring, a birth.
a tulip requires winter to bloom in spring. without experiencing cold, dark nights, beauty will not emerge. such is life.
a tulip blooms after a cold, dark winter.
a tulip blooms in the dirt.
“Blossoms are scattered by the wind and the wind cares nothing, but the blossoms of the heart no wind can touch.”
Youshida Kenko, Buddhist Monk, 14th century
